FJL Waste Services hires out commercial wheelie bins in 240, 360, 660 and 1100 litre sizes and empties them on a schedule that suits your business, from weekly to daily, across London, Surrey and the Thames Valley. The bins are supplied and maintained as part of the service, on rolling contracts with no automatic annual price rises and no fuel surcharges.

Commercial bin sizes, 240L to 1100L.
Commercial wheelie bins come in four standard sizes. The 240L and 360L are two-wheeled and move like a household bin; the 660L and 1100L are four-wheeled and live in a bin store or yard. We recommend the smallest container that handles your volumes, not the biggest one with the fattest margin.

How much does commercial wheelie bin hire cost?
It depends on the bin size, the waste stream and how often it is emptied, so we price per bin per lift for your site. General waste costs more to handle than recycling, which is why splitting recycling and food waste out usually brings the total down. Tell us your postcode and roughly what you throw away and we will send a clear price the same day.
What size commercial bin does my business need?
As a rough guide a 240L holds around 3 to 4 bin bags, a 360L 5 to 6, a 660L 10 to 12 and an 1100L 18 to 20. Small offices and shops usually run a 240L or 360L, busy restaurants and warehouses a 660L or 1100L. We size it to your weekly volume, not the biggest bin we can rent you.
How often are commercial bins emptied?
Whatever suits your site, from weekly to daily for high-volume kitchens and retail. We match the collection frequency to the bin size so you are never overflowing or paying to lift a half-empty bin.
Do I buy the bins or are they included in the hire?
The bins are included. We supply and maintain them as part of the service, on rolling agreements rather than lock-ins.
Can I have separate bins for recycling, glass and food waste?
Yes. Under the Simpler Recycling rules, workplaces in England with 10 or more full time equivalent employees have had to separate dry recyclables and food waste from general waste since 31 March 2025, and smaller businesses come into scope on 31 March 2027. A typical setup is one general waste bin plus mixed recycling, with glass and food bins where you produce them.
Is there a minimum contract or fuel surcharge?
We keep terms simple: rolling agreements, no automatic annual price rises and no fuel surcharges. Ask us for the specifics for your site.
