Switching from Biffa, common questions
Can I switch from Biffa to FJL?
Yes, easily. Send us your current invoice, we match or better the setup on the same commercial bins, and we coordinate the changeover. Most sites switch in about a week.
How much notice do I need to give Biffa or another national provider?
National contracts often auto-renew, with a notice window of 30 to 90 days before the renewal date. Find your renewal date and notice period, and we will help you time the switch so you do not get locked in for another term.
Will I be left without a bin during the switch?
No. The changeover is coordinated so your old bins are collected and ours delivered without a gap in service.
Are FJL's bins the same as Biffa's?
Yes, the same commercial wheelie bins from 240L to 1100L, plus food and recycling bins, FEL and REL. The difference is local service, a named contact, and no automatic price rises or fuel surcharges.
Are you cheaper than Biffa?
Most businesses that switch to us save money, but it depends on your setup, so we quote against your current invoice rather than promise a flat figure. There are no fuel surcharges or automatic annual increases.
