FJL at Riverside Studios.
Riverside Studios in Hammersmith is the W6 TV venue with audience capacity, used for live shows, BBC productions and current affairs work. It is a different beast to the big out-of-town sound stages. Tight site, central London access, a steady flow of audience-shoot days rather than long feature builds. FJL covers Riverside out of the Uxbridge depot, and Hammersmith is inside our regular West London inner route. The waste profile is mostly green room and audience-facing catering, paper and card from production, and residual on a schedule that respects the W6 location and the studio's neighbours. We have collected here long enough to know which side of the building the trade waste comes out of and when the audience lifts are running.

Yes. We run smaller vehicles where the W6 access calls for it, and time collections to avoid clashes with audience arrivals or live shows.

Does Simpler Recycling apply at Riverside?
Yes. Production companies with ten or more full-time staff have been subject to the three-stream rules since 31 March 2025. Food waste, dry recyclables and general waste collected separately.
