FJL at Elstree Studios.
Elstree Studios in Borehamwood is the borough-managed campus that houses the George Lucas Stage and runs television flagships including Strictly Come Dancing, Big Brother and The Crown alongside ongoing feature work. The original Star Wars trilogy was shot here. This is not the older MGM-British or BBC Elstree complex, this is the working facility in the heart of Borehamwood with multiple sound stages and an active production calendar year round. FJL covers Elstree from our Uxbridge depot, comfortable inside our north-west route. We have collected at the studio across long-running TV productions where the schedule is predictable and across short-burst features where containers need to land fast and clear faster. Our drivers know the stage entrances, the production office locations and which bays are the right ones for waste vehicles.

Yes. Production companies based at Elstree with ten or more full-time staff have been subject to the three-stream rules since 31 March 2025. We supply food waste, dry recyclables and general waste as separate collections.
