Bins and containers, common questions
What container types do you offer?
Everything from sealed food caddies and commercial bags through 240L to 1100L wheelie bins, front-end and rear-end loaders, static compactors, open and enclosed skips, and roll-on roll-off containers. One supplier for the full range.
What size wheelie bins do you supply?
240L, 360L, 660L and 1100L. Roughly, a 240L holds 3 to 4 bin bags, a 360L 5 to 6, a 660L 10 to 12 and an 1100L 18 to 20.
What is the difference between a front-end and rear-end loader?
Both are for higher-volume commercial waste collected by a specialist lorry. Rear-end loaders (REL) suit high-frequency routes, front-end loaders (FEL) suit large fixed sites. We advise which fits your access and volume.
When is a compactor worth it?
When a fixed site produces high volumes of compressible waste. A compactor squashes waste on site so you pay for fewer collections, which pays back quickly at supermarkets, factories and large retail.
Do you supply food waste caddies?
Yes. Sealed food caddies for kitchens and back-of-house, alongside larger food bins, so you can separate food waste and stay compliant with Simpler Recycling.
Can I mix container types on one site?
Yes, and most sites do. A common setup is wheelie bins for day-to-day waste plus a skip or roll-on roll-off for clear-outs and projects. We supply and service the full mix on one agreement.
